A bit about me, and what I do…
I have been teetering in and out with the whole Web Design field for sometime now. It started in highschool with some technology courses and learning some HTML. This got me interested in the ability to develop a site, and really play around with things. I was also always interested in art, and you would have been hard pressed to pull me away from my sketch book as a kid. Drawing and computer languages get along well in a Web Design career as they are key ingredients to provide clients with what they need to advertise their business, keep up with blogs, etc.
After highschool I moved along to Durham College for their full time Website Development program which I attended for a year before I decided at the time, it was not what I was looking for. 3 Years later, after a move from Durham Region to Kawartha Lakes, I found a revived passion for computers, and designing websites. I enrolled myself in courses to help myself learn what I had forgotten over the few years that I had taken a break away from doing anything web related, and had snagged a job working for a local development company working as a Web Design Intern. I am now working full time, doing what I love to do, and trying to learn more and more each day. My long term plan is to learn as much as I can about front end development, and build a good strong career so that I will be able to provide for myself and a future family.
Currently I am working freelance for several small companies in my area, as well as putting most of my efforts towards personal clients for Pristine Pixels. Please feel free to contact me if you are looking for work to be done, hosting or any other questions you might have.
Thank you.
